  • . Yes, it may be true that with the advent of free donlwoads the electronic industry has exploded and yes we are finding a vaster difference in the quality and value. However, in my opinion, that is the greatest benefit of free donlwoads, the competition increases and the quality of the BEST music however impossible that may be to define will be forever increasing. Those artists who are lucky enough to become signed on the major labels (David Guetta? who knows? as i said the best can never be truly defined and im sure he worked bloody hard to get their too, his early music wasnt half bad) do so because they have worked tirelessly competing with the competition, free donlwoads is simply a tool to compete with already established artists, yet it provides so many more benefits. Free donlwoads increases the competition which in turn increases quality. The better the quality, the more listeners; and thats not even mentioning the rapid expansion of electronic music genre’s. The money then becomes a bi-product, an acquirement that comes with respect and adoration. I am a keen believer in the philosophy of shared value, give the public what they want and they’ll give you what you want in return; maybe even slightly more expensive concert tickets? You may be interested in the idea of shared value, i viewed it earlier this year in a Harvard Business review and it seems to tie in very closely with this idea.Hopefully i havent merely repeated all the other comments, but i felt some things needed adding in order to sum up the already very insightful comments on this page. Keep up the good work dude.
