Swedish progressive house prodigy, Avicii, presents us the second episode of his newly launched series of mixtapes on Sirius XM named Le7els as his recently launched record label. As it’s just been revealed an Avicii vocal remix of Derezzed is due to be released and such anthems as Levels and Silhouettes lined up for release, the Swede is most certainly the man of the moment. Not only does the second edition of Le7els contain the glorious Fade Into Darkness, but also Arty’s Around The World, Avicii’s Nothing Without You and a guest mix from up and coming Otto Knows, the talent from whom we recently exclusively released a remix of Hide And Seek. Otto Knows’ 30 minute part of this issue features his all new single, a few cool mashups and another new production from Otto which I’m confident we’ll be seeing around in near future.

AdamDoyle says:
If he was about the money he would let Leonna Lewis release Collide! Avicii went mainstream? maintstream went Avicii! which is definitly true!
SebAlvino says:
Avicii was always mainstream. When he didn’t make thos progressive sick bangers h always made mash ups of hiphop songs like still dre and stuf like that. I dont know how you want to put it but thats mainstream.
Dont even know why people bitch on mainstream djs… the dj is there to please the crowd and give them a good time. A dj does it because he loves his music but ALSO the energy he gets in return from the crowd feels amazing.
If mainstream works as a tool for avicii to accomplish those feelings, why shouldn’t he?!
This ever ongoing mainstream discussion is bullshit. Money is an careless argument because he already earns a lot. He spins mainstream because it works and twist the mainstream flavors to progressive music. Thats just being a good dj/producer, so let him!
Sven stålman says:
@SebAlvino WOW, that was one of the best comments i’ve ever read!!!!
UBM says:
Very nice SebAlvino!!
riksomfan says:
Will it be available on iTunes like the other podcast?
Anton says:
riksomfan: It most likely will, but as the first episode – I doubt it will be online on iTunes for another week or so.
The_Punisher says:
From the Otto Knows mix, 09 is:
The Wombats – Techno Fan (Afrojack Remix) [One More Tune]
w/
The Killers- Mr. Brightside
someone says:
some correction: is We are the people (acappella) form empire of the sun, not walking on a dream, look at the lyrics.
cederlindjesper says:
”The_Punisher” & ”someone*:
The post it updated, thank you!
Jason says:
Avicii is probably the best DJ producer out there right now. Tiesto, Guetta, etc. have all gone mainstream and SUCK big time (so overrated). This Otto Knows guy is extremely talented and I can see him becoming the next Avicii soon… can’t wait to hear more of his songs!
Zetheiser says:
@SebAlvino: Couldn’t have said it better! That’s what’s djaying is about!
Thomas says:
Otto’s set was the bomb.. loved it.. exactly my style.. request every song as a download if someone could upload it
