Produced back in 2009, Fedde Le Grand’s long-awaited remix of The Sound Of Violence by Cassius is finally released. He burst out of Holland’s club scene in 2006 and had his major breakthrough with the release of Put Your Hands Up For Detroit, which made him a recognizable name in clubland. As the brand new Freaky production with Nicky Romero is well on its way towards the anticipated release on Toolroom, the Dutchman’s roster of 2011 is undoubtedly astonishing as it features Autosave, Running, Metrum and a bunch of remixes of Soundtracks and Comebacks, Little Bad Girl and Never Will Be Mine. His outright twist of tech was a well-shaped festival sound already in 2009 which is most certainly indicated in this interpretation of a true classic.
