Legendary Pete Tong is back hitting the decks at BBC Radio 1 for the kick-off of this week’s Essential Selection after a short break. Opening up with the progressively mind-blowing Calling collaboration from Sebastian Ingrosso and Alesso, released on Wednesday, last night’s edition of the way was off to a great start for August’s last two hour Pete Tong marathon on the famed radio station. Also included were the long-awaited vocal mix of Afrojack and Steve Aoki’s No Beef release on Wall, the soon to be released-Dirty South remix on Skylar Grey’s Invisible, the all-new Pryda Recordings release from the industry’s mastermind in charge – Pryda – uncovering the tribute anthem to his recently launched show concept at Amnesia in Ibiza named 2Night as well as the Tom Flynn remix on Ouufff by Adrien Mezsi and Jared Dietch and Jeremy Olander’s forthcoming Rypamont and Fairfax EP on Pryda Friends.
