Over the past year, John Dahlback has recurringly shown he knows his way around the drum lines with his discerning record output’s. Searing hot off the back from his recent single release of One Last Ride on Mutants and Big Beat, the Swedish mastermind continues to shew as he instals himself on Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak Records with the remix on Felix Cartal’s newest single, entitled The Joker. Following a release history that yet today stand unconquered, constituting Dahlback’s pacific yet hard-hitting characteristic sounds, he frees a new, fluctuating offering. Clearly dominated by an unerring array of drums, this hot off the press-remix on The Joker has also got a fair amount of influences from Dutch house to make it a fulfilled club composition.
Both as part of MyBack with Albin Myers and as an ever rising solo artist has Dahlback succeeded in becoming one of the more outright producers to date and with recent releases like You’re In My Heart, Senses and the remixes of Big, Invisible. His newest production is now out on iTunes.
