Originally released in late 2000 as part of Fatboy Slim’s third studio album, entitled Halfway Between The Gutter and The Stars, Ya Mama (Push The Tempo) harks back to civilization and Skint Records a bare decade after its initial release for a Moguai take to venture clubland. The Brit who’s been a consistently rising icon since the 90’s is primarily responsible for his limitless scope when it comes to delivering top notch classics like Right Here Right Now, Praise You, Rockafeller Skank and Funk Soul Brother. Irrupting early in the 21st century into an irrefutable prominence as a legend within electronic dance music and its revolutionary evolution, one of Fatboy Slim’s early-day original’s is re-worked by the distinguished German into a refined, Pete Tong-supported club cut. Hot off recent times triumphs such as We Want Your Soul on Size, the remix on Zaman and the two brilliant Mau5trap singles, Optinuum and Beat Of The Drum, Moguai weaves the core elements of the original together with fresher sounds of electro and acid.
