As premiered by Axwell at the grand finale of this year’s Where’s The Party? by Carlsberg tour, Hard Rock Sofa and Swanky Tunes come together yet again to release a new single collaboration in between’s Russia’s well-reputed trio’s. Releasing their first jointed single making in mid 2008, it was not until late 2010 the two DJ and production outfit’s combined made their essential break with the launch of Select Start on Nervous. Following up with the unblemished release of Rhea via Mutants, the Russian’s entered 2011 with a quest to excel most producers this year, both as the two groups jointed but also as the acclaimed trio’s seperated – a task which has come to gracefully turn into a fact for the ever rising Swanky Tunes and Hard Rock Sofa. Coming back to unleash Feedback and Steam Gun, it was with great anticipation and a widespread buzz they later installed the Smolengrad and United EP on the celebrated label of Steve Angello and the innovative I Wanna Be Your Dog on Spinnin.
Enacting their pretentious signature sounds, Swanky Tunes and Hard Rock Sofa head towards the London-based dance division of Warner Music, One More Tune Records, with a new record, entitled Phantom, along with them. Having seen early support from Axwell, mashing it up with the classic tones of Café del Mar, Phantom is grounded upon the mighty drum progression, that have made the two groups identifiable to the growing fan base of electronic dance music, and evokes a feeling of big room that is certain to fuel this floor filler right up the global charts.
