His rather dingy submissions to the progressive house music scene has helped him become a highly-valued contributor and the essential talent of Flamingo Recordings this year. And rightfully so; since the hugely supported Tung! and Hydra engaged clubland around mid-summer, the progression of the now Holland residing Deniz Koyu has been nothing lately, if not successful. Teaming up with the Swedish wunderkid, Johan Wedel, for the vital remix on James Blunt’s Dangerous which has been utmostly congenial to the grandest of DJ’s, David Guetta, Swedish House Mafia and Tiësto included, ones that may not have paid recognition in the past are certain to have opened up their aural hollows for everything Deniz Koyu this year. As he returns from the wildly demanded Hertz, a sample of his stupendous take on the last single release from Kaskade, Turn It Down, has surfaced, courtesy of an exclusively given radio spin by none other than Tiësto in his Club Life show.

Borrowing the main chords of the original and the sing-along vocals from Rebecca & Fiona, the framing of the newest production out from Koyu is utterly qualitative and well-made as he adds his God-like build-up with cut-offs and grubby chords to merge into a mighty piece of club-banging qualities, also starring his brilliantly tailored kicks. It’s due out December 13th on Ultra Records along with a few other remixes as well, have a listen!

  • You’re making too much hype about this remix. It’s not even close to the great original version :)

  • @matthew, too much hype?? its insane, way better than the original if you ask me..

  • lol, drop was dissapointing..quite boring

  • The drop, disappointing indeed

  • @Petey Deniz is good producer but this remix is just nothing special :)

  • Original is 50 times better..

  • he has a sound that grows on people.. heard this live and it was fricking incredible

  • Bad drop -.-

  • Heard it when Tiesto dropped it and believe me guys its insane!! So much better than the original.

  • Yeah, I really think the original is better. Disappointed :(

  • tyckte fan droppet var rätt fett

  • the original might sound a bit like Alessos Heiress of Valentina Remix, but it beats the crap out of deniz’ remix..especially the drop was a letdown for me

  • How the fuck can this be better then the original song? It’s basically just the drop that makes a difference between the original and this one, Whick means the drop has to be sick to make an impression on people, but this was just a really poor basic drop. It feels like drop like this has been done too many times now.

  • I also like Koyu’s harder beats on this remix better than the original which is a bit cheesy imo. I love the drop here, bet it sounds super fat in a club!

  • is sooo fucking AMAZING <3 <3 <3

  • Den är fäääääth

  • Deniz Koyu = fucking TUNG!!!!!!

  • Kaskade spelade den här på Ambassadeur och det var nog det sjukaste jag hört. stört bra låt

  • I believe everything published was actually very logical.
But, think on this, what if you were to create a killer headline?
I mean, I don’t wish to tell you how to run your website, however suppose you added something that grabbed folk’s attention? I mean Kaskade ft Rebecca & Fiona – Turn It Down (Deniz Koyu Remix)

is a little boring. You could peek at Yahoo’s front
page and watch how they create article titles to get viewers to
open the links. You might try adding a video or a pic or two to get people interested about what you’ve written. In my
opinion, it might bring your posts a little livelier.
