In honour of last week’s significant Amsterdam Dance Event and the homeland of Dutch house and such highly-rated DJ’s as Tiësto, Afrojack, Ferry Corsten, Armin van Buuren, Dash Berlin and Sander van Doorn among others, BBC Radio 1 went all Dutch last night, bringing in the pioneer of Holland’s distinguished club scene, Chuckie, to co-host this week’s Essential Selection alongside the legendary Pete Tong. Chuckie, whom is no stranger to the halls of BBC Radio 1 due to being the host of the weekly In New DJ’s We Trust show, unearthed a major bunch off his own extensive discography, a few forthcoming records and electing Afrojack’s brand-new Lionheart single as this week’s essential new tune with a premiere spin for the official kick-off of last night’s Dutch special. Apart from the horde of hard-hitting Chuckie remixes, this week’s episode also covered the recently released R3hab and Swanky Tunes remix on Maximal Crazy, the amazing Fedde Le Grand remix of Paradise, the follow-up to Let The Bass Kick In Miami Bitch – What Happens In Vegas – the upcoming Who Is Ready To Jump and Nicky Romero’s Camorra release on the record label of Calvin Harris among many others.

The Amsterdam duo that is NO_ID returns to Diffused Music to avail the opportunity of following up April’s Sex Sells EP, which has been seeing persistent playlistings from Sander van Doorn and others. Headlined by a rather distinguished edit on behalf of label honcho Michael Woods himself, How R U Feeling Right Now is the next hit off the Diffused imprint to follow in the footmarks of such tremendous releases as BulletConductor and No Access. Also coming off the pair’s Summer contender of 2011 – Let It Out – an array of chunky beats, a looped vocal enacting the making’s title gracefully and servile piano chords make up the newest single out from NO_ID.

Coming on the heels of George F Zimmer’s three-piece One Last Dance EP announcing his final goodbye after years of serving the melodic face of progressive house music loyally, Unreleased Digital welcomes, yet again, the Swiss Tamara Hunkeler, also known as Dinka, to follow the recent single release of Reach For Me, one of the singles off her third artist album, ”Tales Of The Sun”. Having the glorious Violet EP, followed by a tremendous remix from Inpetto, still paving her advancement as one of the core characters within the gorgeous sounds of modern-day House music. Set for release in November is a single adapted to grace and embrace any boiling hot Summer day on the beach with its emotionality, mysteriously beautiful vocals and symphonic touch. It’s set to release on November 25th.

One of the label head’s of Hotfingers Music, Luigi Rocca, returns after his Pete Tong-supported Nostromo collaboration with Pleasurekraft to shed light on a new 12-track compilation, titled ”Tales Of A Lost Lover”. Rocca unearths an up-and-comer from his native city of Torino, Libex, for the headlining position of the follow-up release to the newly emitted I Don’t Wanna Stop by Etienne Ozborne and Richard Beynon. Despite the fact that he’s been around since late 2006, Libero Bovolenta has, until now, been flying a bit under the radar. As he now ups the ante for the disco-influenced sounds of 2 Get, the name of Libex is certain to be flying under the radar nomore with a groove that could make the indulgence of any living soul turn in favour of the Torino-raised talent.

Following the stupendous success that has been brought upon Alesso from the emittance of his Nillionaire / Dynamite EP in March of this year, it does certainly seem our essential export out from Sweden capital is in it for the long run as a second solo release on Refune Records is currently in the works. As the aforementioned two-track package, merely half a year later, is still a distinct piece in live sets and radio shows, the ascension of Alesso has indeed been an honourable break-through to witness thrive over the past couple of months. Pulling out the exceling take on Pressure, the bone-thrilling and utmostly discerning remix on Save The World and the throbbing cut on LMFAO’s Party Rock Anthem whilst still riding the remnants of his Refune EP, the projection of his burst into clubland has recurringly been proven correct over the past month. Teaming up with one of the Swedish mobsters, Sebastian Ingrosso, for the Pete Tong-championed Calling collaboration, the two of Italian heritage have come to create what appears to be of one of 2011’s grandest hit singles. And if not, the incredible remix of DEVolution and Amy Pearson’s Good Love may very well be the rightful contestant for this graceful distinction.

Together with the talkative acappella of Daft Punk’s Technologic, the next single out from Alesso is already played by the likes of Swedish House Mafia, Tiësto, Avicii and Dirty South. Also featured in the Swedish House Mafia take-over on BBC Radio 1, the single making, entitled Raise Your Head, that is rendered by a rugged core lead in conjuction with vigorous baselines and cacophonic sounding break-down chords is showcasing a powerful structure that sure knows how to demolish and evoke a mayhem on any dancefloor. It’s due out soon and from the looks of previous proceedings, I believe we can expect a companion to be joining the release that is coming on November 16th via the record label of Sebastian Ingrosso – Refune.

Known for their genuine and effing crazy personalities, Olle Corneer and Stefan Engblom, also known as Dada Life, give us a sneak peek on their next remix in line for release as the vocal version of Happy Violence was just set on the horizon. What some may have considered to be a difficult track to remix, Duck Sauce’s highly-acknowledged follow-up to Barbra Streisand, titled Big Bad Wolf, is put into the meatgrinder for a steaming hot club revision from the Swedish duo. Borrowing merely just the trademarked vocals of the original by A-Trak and Armand van Helden, the latest remix rendition out from the pair, as we yet await their take on Prutataaa, offers a significantly grinding electro progression and dashing kicks to score an absolute smash out of the rather unique Big Bad Wolf. With a track host of the recent Ice single with Kaskade, Unleash The Fucking Dada, White Noise / Red Meat, Fight Club Is Closed (It’s Time For Rock N Roll) among many others, the momentum of Dada Life continues to flourish along with their newest cut now out for a taste.

Although his year so far has been utmostly fruitful, the dexterous John Dahlback seem to have his aim set for complete domination as he comes out with a teaser for his next single release on Mutants Records. Guilty of years of superiority, initiated with the plant of his 2007 break-through along with the release of Blink, the Swede returns to the roots to produce a somewhat similar tune to his earlier stuff. Tipped with a strident sound and mincing baselines, The Grunge is highly disparate from his widespread string of hit productions offered throughout 2011; One Last Ride, Are You Nervous, Overdose, You’re In My Heart and remixes on Big and Invisible to only name a few. To be released in mid November, the crusade of the man whom made his debut as a 17 year old proceeds along with his comprehensive and well-reputed knowledge on everything producing. It due to be released on November 15th!

Leaving their forthcoming remix on Kaskade and Rebecca & Fiona’s Turn It Down behind to pursue further triumphs are Nause, the intriguing Stockholm duo which has proven extensive skillfulness on the production side over the past year. In case the pair behind impressive interpretations of remix on Feel It In My Bones, Lazee’s Tag and Bullets as well as the sensational Made Of hit has flown under your radar to date, you better up-date yourself as Jacob Criborn and Leonard Scheja ante up for another peerless release. Building on the summerish instrumentals by Kwan Hendry and the extravagant vocals from Karim Bhorania, better known as singer and songwriter SoulCream, an emotional synth progression and sun-kissed vibes capable of bringing up your most glorious Summer flashbacks are donned onto Nero Recordings‘ most recent installment – Don’t Give Up.

Since last year’s ‘Release’ installment on Size Records, Harry Bass and Jonnie Macaire who make up Third Party, have been two of the talented powerhouse’s behind the rise of a new generation of camp Size and Swedish House Mafia. Having the Duel single and a streak of astounding remixes on Carry Me Home, Save The World, I Believe In and Militia fuelling their relentless march as one of the more aspiring duo’s of modern-day house music scene, the London pair is undoubtedly thriving in an upbringing of success and glory. With the imminent releases of Feel and their inimitable take on Red Hot Chili Peppers’ almighty Otherside single being two longed-for anthems to be, Third Party preview their newest making, taking on Scottish phenomena Emeli Sandé’s forthcoming single alongside Naughty BoyDaddy.

Merging the soulful yet powerful voice of the Scotland-raised singer with the London duo’s progressively sweeping chords, this is one for the big room. It sees its final release on November 27th via Virgin Records, have a listen!

Having a name that proceeds them, Matisse & Sadko are highly recognizable from the two Hi Scandinavia and Svenska singles out from Zouk Recordings. And despite what you may think, these Russian brothers are on a steady rise as a result to not only having pulled out support from the likes of the Swedish House Mafia among many others, but as their new single collaborations with Arty and Swanky Tunes, entitled Trio and The Legend, are two eagerly anticipated and well-known gems within electronic dance music. They are now showcasing their hottest tunes of October in an hour-long mixtape that comprises such anthemic pieces as the Fedde Le Grand remix on Paradise, the Eric Prydz remix of Circles, Dirty South’s new Walking Alone hit with Those Usual Suspects and Erik Hecht, Hardwell’s latest single, named Cobra, and the bumpy Bassjackers take on Maximal Crazy to name a few.

Becoming a label platform of the highest notch thanks to an exclusive scope of nothing but club- and festival anthems, Musical Freedom Records, with a row of hits like Zero 76Future FolkMush MushEpic and K2 out, brings back Tiësto’s recently released fifth single of 2011 – Maximal Crazy – for a revision from the tribe behind Wall’s tremendous Sending My Love single – R3hab and Swanky Tunes. The Wall installment that’s currently awaiting a horde of remixes to be released, including the recently uncovered one from Kaskade, has become their forte over the past two months and from the looks of its recurrent playlistings from heavyweights like Swedish House Mafia, its advancement is still on the rise.

The dominating arpeggio of the original is disassembled for a complete remake with only a couple of leading elements remaining. Flipping from an uplifting breakdown and anthemic chords into a rough, dark and throbbingly sweeping ambience of all the minor and major ingredients to fulfil a full-on set weapon of floor filling ability, Maximal Crazy prepares to make further impact on the global charts.

As evenly impressive as their debut appearance on the record label of Tiësto, Marlon Flohr and Ralph van Hilst, who combined make up the Dutch Bassjackers duo, give a taste of their return to the Musical Freedom imprint, for which they have remixed the label honcho’s mighty Maximal Crazy single. Joining in alongside the monstrous R3hab and Swanky Tunes remix, the Holland-raised pair currently based in Amsterdam have undoubtedly made themselves worthy of firmly planting their name on the list of DJ’s and producers to watch soar in near future. Coming back from a remix on Dada Life’s White Noise / Red Meat, the underestimated take on Kid Massive and Peyton’s A Little Louder and an EP on Wall Recordings, Bassjackers follow up their essential set anthem, Mush Mush, with the dark, distorted sounds in conjunction with killer baselines making up the second installment on one of electronic dance music’s most influential record labels to date. It has also been supported by the likes and plays of David Guetta, whom was recently voted the world’s number one in DJ Mag’s Top 100 poll.
