Returning from his impeccable take on Calvin Harris’ Feel So Close single is the London-based Eden Anderson, professionally known as Special Features, to take on one of the most acclaimed tunes off the extensive chronology of Deadmau5 – Strobe. Building on the holy and spiffy chords of the original, Anderson infuses his signature blend of firm kicks and electro-house and progressive crossing path in the creation of a full-on sweeping progression, slickly assisting the lead synths.
The track that was originally released in 2009 and screened the more emotional production side of Joel Zimmerman has seen countless interpretation over the past two years, but it’s not until now, in late 2011, a high-class club cut and maybe the best one to date reveals itself. With that sensual yet uplifting and hard-hitting evoking euphoria, this is one peerless revamp.
