From his break-through single alongside Tristan Garner, Fuckin Down, late 2009 to the forthcoming release of Kameha, it’s no secret Gregori Klosman has mustered a solid reputation over the past two years. Laying the groundworks quickly but steadily with his neoterically hard-hitting characteristics along to the triumphant debut on Joia Records, the Parisian’s unstoppable rise has been nothing short of spectacular. Donning two single records with Danny Wild to the infamous halls of Spinnin Records, remixing the likes of Nervo, Bob Sinclar, Akon, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and Syke ‘N’ Sugarstarr as well as coming out with his prominent collaborative effort with Chuckie, entitled Mutfakta, the Frenchman, whom now can be regarded as one of the leading figures of France’s extensive arsenal of prosperous DJ’s and producers, trooped into 2011 with the positive vibes of his hectic and utterly fruitful 2010 firmly fuelling another signing to Dirty Dutch Records and consequently the release of Jaws.
Emitting the tribal beats of the major follow-up to Fuckin Down, titled Bounce, and Low Battery in May of this year, the past six months have been a consitent progression jam packed with a streak of hit remixes on Sweet Dreams, Where Them Girls At, Stronger, The Flavour and the yet to be released take on David Guetta’s Titanium as well as the Endless installment on Flamingo Recordings alongside Promise Land. And not only has his enthralling production skill been responsible for a string of darker club-bangers lately, but his capability to also master the tech scene has been proven as a result of the releases of Bombata / Zulu and the more recent Peacock.
Now, with two sublime offerings in the pipeline, the long-awaited seventh Gregori Klosman single in 2011 strikes clubland. Embracing his heavy-stepping signature sound of dominant kicks along with subtle percussions and a soothing and somewhat mysterious break-down to come together for the creation that is I Am The Law – another jaw-dropping gem out from the fastly developing Frenchman – it seems there is more impact to be caused ahead on behalf of this talented icon.
