The pair that primarily crossed paths in terms of music along with Nicky Romero being requested to remix Fedde Le Grand’s Rockin’ High in late 2010 seem to have found themselves able to jointed make up a pretty descent contrast of sounds. Not only is the uniquely knitted Freaky set for an upcoming release through Mark Knight’s Toolroom label, but the two Dutchmen have teamed up for a remix on Sensation’s resident Lee Grant, professionally known as MC Gee. Screening a sweeping and contorted electro-house lead, small House build-ups fairly reminiscent of One, mincing baselines and striking kicks firmly added onto the the talkative vocals from Gee’s new Slacking single, the two Hollander’s are setting another jaw-dropper on the horizon. And as the founder of Flamingo and recurrent headliner of countless top-tier festivals rides on the remains of Autosave and the recent remix on Coldplay’s Paradise, it seems his outlet is limited to nothing but full-blown smashers. As if one prominent Dutchman was enough, the rapidly ascending producer behind the throbbing remix on FlashBootcampBeta and many others over the past 12 months is also partly responsible for this remix which was recently debuted by David Guetta at DJ Mag’s Top 100 awards ceremony during Amsterdam Dance Event.
