As premiered by Annie Mac on Friday, a preview of a certain Cazzette take on Avicii’s hugely acclaimed Levels has surfaced. Unearthed and developed under the same banner as Avicii, the At Night Management, Alexander Björklund and Sebastian Furrer, who made their debut as Cazzette with a remix on Sweet Dreams in early June, have seen the perpetual rise of their own DJ and production outfit, which, in the course of a mere five months, has been nothing short of impressive. Having shown their extensive deftness on anything dubstep, electro-house and a merge the two in between, the quite remarkable works from the hands of the Swedish duo are already recurringly played by the likes of Swedish House Mafia, David Guetta, Martin Solveig and many others. And now, with the sought-after Killmode in the pipeline, the prolific duo disassemble the infectious original of Levels, only to iconically assemble it with a dash of their sturdy and creative take on the modern-day electro-house sounds. Whilst preserving the original’s unremitting melody, Cazzette also add a momentous and somewhat rock-influenced drop, small yet significant tweaks to the synth filled chord progression and an array of grinding bass lines for an exceptional rework of the dance music anthem of 2011 – Levels. It’s set to release December 20th via Le7els Records along with a remix from Skrillex as well.

Broke says:
I actually think this is the best remix of Levels so far, would be nice with full quality though
Adam says:
The beginning of the song right before the drop had me excited but then it ultimately failed, the tocadisco remix is better then this
ChPh says:
agreeing with Adam
ChPh says:
except that tocadiscos remix sucks
philipp says:
sorry but i really dislike…check out the hardwell bootleg it’s dirty! ;D
Pat says:
Gotta say tocadisco’s is really plain, nothing exciting, and hardwell’s is pretty good, very hard hitting but this remix does the song the most justice while still incorporating the main melody, and the production values bests that of tocadisco’s by far.
Adam if you honestly think tocadisco is better than this then you seriously need to reevaluate your taste in house.
