Coming off his second tech appearance in terms of the release of Peacock, the remix of Titanium and I Am The LawGregori Klosman returns to his ambitious club sound to render a new single. Already having a fruitful year as a result to his punchy signature releases that, in late 2010, paved the way for such vital strikers as Fuckin’ Down, Mutfakta and an extensive string of hit remixes, Klosman’s year of 2011 has yet to be filled further with a dash of his latest smash – Kameha. With a pack of top notch releases, including EndlessBombata, Zulu and numerous remixes on StrongerThe Flavour and Sweet Dreams, covering this year’s outlet of the Paris resident, the cage of France’s ever rising reputation within the House scene continues to rattle as the powerhouse that is Gregori Klosman comes out with the infectious baselines and high-pitched synths of Kameha for a release via Spinnin Records.

Taken from Martin Solveig’s recently released fifth studio album, entitled ”Smash”, Big In Japan – featuring Canadian electro-pop trio Dragonette and, appropriately enough, the dynamic Japanese female group Idoling!!! – gets the remix treatment. Quite remindful of one of its prosperous predecessors, Hello, the single that is told to be the next major off the hands of the Parisian reflects upon a pop-like feel with a dash of retro and induces, alike former Solveig singles, producers a desire to creatively process the playful Solveig instrumentals.

Armed with their filthiest and hottest electro sound combinations to date, the first remix duty hails from the holy grail of electronic dance music, Amsterdam, and the corner of the up-and-coming Les Bros duo. Borrowing heavily from the original’s memorable build-ups and colorful vocals, the remix later emerges in its natural grace with a uniquely knitted dubstep and electro-house blend of intermittent beeps, fierce baselines and their sturdy signature wobbles to show the Dutchmen’s aspiring production knack.

Also aboard this package is a remix from Melbourne residents of Denzal Park. Apart from the futuristic Les Bros take, the Aussie interpretation represents that traditionally thumping club sound, only in a better shape than ever. Atop the cheeky and catchy vocals, Denzal Park add a repetetive chord progression which fluctuates in between an essential siren crescendo and a dark, hard-hitting drop adapted to fully cause impact in everything from your local bar to the most sophisticated of nightclubs.

The remix package to ‘Big In Japan’ is now out on Martin Solveig’s own Mixture Stereophonic label.

Since the inception of the grooves of his debut single in 2008, Michaël Canitrot has firmly grown into a pioneer and household name for anything summerish. What started off with a solid sounds of traditional house music has come to develop into the feel-good vibes of sing-along Summer concoctions. Coming off the release of You And I in mid 2010, followed by this year’s, hands down, amazing Summer contender that is When You Got Love, also featuring the voice of Ron Carroll, the Frenchman comes out with a new, blinding single. Made up by an epitome of sounds strongly influenced by the French house genre, growling baselines, stomping kicks and plump complementary tiers, Blue Collision instantly resembles the colour of blue and consists of systematically structured instrumentals to successfully make up an enchanting climax, which, in conjuction with a soothing and emotional interlude, makes up Canitrot’s fourth appearance under his own Aime Music label.

Returning to the London based Cr2 Records after their frisky remix on Something On Your Mind in March are Kam Denny and Paul Zala who combined make up Denzal Park. Thunderous and steady beats becoming their trademark, as most recently proven with the highly-supported Militia single on Neon Records, the offering now out on the record label of Mark Brown, half of MYNC, screens the Aussie pair’s top notch characteristics and handiness on anything dynamic. Also coming off their ’stutter kids’ take on Tonite Only’s We Run The Nite and having the progressive cut out of Art vs. Science’s With Thoughts lined up for emittance, Nammos is unveiled. Fronted by the symphonic and triumphant strings in the break, firm, bumpy drums and floor filling stabs, Nammos is out now through Cr2.

With the ground-breaking Levels now officially out, Avicii is arguably the largest deal in clubland at the moment. On top of selling out spacious clubs and stadiums like no other, the 22 year old hit-smith that is Sweden’s Tim Bergling has shown indications of being in possession of that desirable touch of Midas, the Greek legend king whose unique ability was to turn everything he touched into gold. Indeed, there has been quite a few golden gems emerging from Avicii headquarters and At Night management this year, including Fade Into Darkness and Sunshine and literally a horde of ID’s. And with Dancing In My Head, with singer Eric Turner, and Before This Night Is Through (Bad Things), under his Tim Berg moniker, coming up, the hereunto unstoppable rise of Avicii is certainly not looking to simmer down anytime soon.

Nevertheless, the young Swedish prodigy hit the decks at Super Glow, DC Armory in Washington, United States last Friday for a three hour marathon, during which the over 10 000 strong crowd raved to a few more than one unreleased Avicii, a bunch of old ones and new tracks like Alesso’s Raise Your Head, Michael Calfan’s Resurrection and the Alesso remix to Titanium. The live set, tipped by a blinding, new opening track from the Swede, ventured cyberspace recently as a result to getting a spin on Sirius XM yesterday and has been the talk of the town ever since. Frankly, there are quite a few more than one town involved in this matter as a sample of what many deem the ”next” Levels is well on its way of going viral across the globe. The rumours saying it’s one of the new collaborations in between the Swede and Nicky Romero due to a mysterious tweet made by Romero himself linking the video embedded after the tracklisting below has now been confirmed to be true.

Whilst still thriving thoroughly from the successful releases of Hi Scandinavia and Svenska on Zouk Recordings, Matisse & Sadko have undubitably made their mark on dance music aristocracy. Specialized in beats and progressions suitable for nothing but the main room, the originality of these two Russian brothers, Alexander and Yury Parkhomenko, has helped them successfully spear the most impenetrable of barriers along with the ascent of their highly-supported repertoire. Now returning to the prestigious Armada Music of Armin van Buuren to preview their third and most likely not final release on the well-known label group, the Russian duo unveil a third single to join the Axtone-signed Trio with Arty and The Legend, with Swanky Tunes, on the list of sought-after, unreleased Matisse & Sadko outputs.

Like a set weapon of dancefloor filling capacity, the dark hybrid that is Amulet recently emerged after a premiere on Armin van Buuren’s A State Of Trance radio show. Similar to the grooming of the aforementioned triumphs, Amulet is a genuine brew of a mysterious chant that you would expect from Scandinavia’s Lapps, extended, symphonic notes and dominant rolling sounds, tipped by a perfectly pitched trance synth loop, the newest single from Matisse & Sadko appears as a pacemaker any drove of fist-pumping club music heads would joyfully bear.

‘Amulet’ is set for release on December 19th.

It seems Steve Angello’s Size Records is looking to add another pair of talents to their already prominent roster as the first sample of a new Size release from two aspiring Swede’s has surfaced. Already getting recurringly played by the likes of Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso, Alexander Lager and Johannes Gustafsson who combined make up the newly launched duo outfit Qulinez have evidently come up with one serious peak-time concoction. Coming off the upbringing of camp Size’s Tim Mason, Third Party, AN21, Max Vangeli, Junior Sanchez and Kim Fai to name a few, Qulinez join in as another distinct and vital addition to the Size line-up with the upcoming debut being this unprecedented record, entitled Troll.

Flipping from smooth, silky tones and a red hot synth-like progression into transcendent, growling chords, uplifting bottom layers and a powerful distinction, Troll is undoubtedly an offering of anthemic measures.

‘Troll’ is set to release on Size Records in 2012.

Since last year’s ‘Release’ installment on Size Records, Harry Bass and Jonnie Macaire who make up Third Party, have been two of the talented powerhouse’s behind the rise of a new generation of camp Size and Swedish House Mafia. Having the Duel single and a streak of astounding remixes on Carry Me Home, Save The World, I Believe In and Militia fuelling their relentless march as one of the more aspiring duo’s of the modern-day house music scene, the London pair is undoubtedly thriving in an upbringing of success and glory. With the imminent releases of Feel and their inimitable take on Red Hot Chili Peppers’ almighty Otherside single being two longed-for anthems to be, Third Party release their newest making, taking on Scottish R&B phenomena Emeli Sandé’s new single alongside Naughty BoyDaddy.

Blending the soulful and powerful voice of the Scotland-raised singer with progressively sweeping chords quite reminiscent of some of the recent works off the hands of Dirty South, solid kicks and an emotionality unlike others on behalf of the London duo, this is one for the big room.

The Third Party remix to ‘Daddy’ is now out on Virgin Records.

After the successful launch of the original and whilst Kaskade’s newly released ”Fire & Ice” album is strongly climbing the charts, tastes of two sturdy remixes of the American’s 2011 trademark single Eyes have emerged.

Following numerous well-turned-out collaborations in Sending My Love and remixes to Maximal Crazy and Calling, R3hab and Swanky Tunes are now tramping their seperate ways to independantly remix Kaskade’s surpassing Eyes with an absolute stunning vocal from Mindy Gledhill. Whilst the original represents what we deem one of his best tracks to date with an unattainable emotionality and his heartfelt signature sound, Ultra Records seem to have been in the look-out for a remix package with significantly rawer sounds as Wall Recordings’ essential protégé, R3hab, and the Russians of Swanky Tunes were brought in to give their club suitable takes on Eyes.

What at first appears to be another throbbing example of R3hab’s chainsaw-sounding signature drop later breaks down to thoroughly create a widely spread contrast of sounds. Boasting a melodic and utterly beautiful piano lead that hovers softly atop the vocals from Ms. Gledhill and meaty kicks, the man behind Prutataaa, with Afrojack, and an armada of remixes on Without You, Koko and others is out with a teaser of his newest, dynamic remix.

Aside from the flexibility in the aforementioned remix, Swanky Tunes showcase nothing but their crisp chords, consistent drums and mincing baselines to round this package of alternate, harder versions of the silky original off as their The Legend making with Matisse & Sadko is becoming more eagerly awaited amongst house music heads by the day.

Having been a core asset to the label since 2007, James Cayzer, professionally known as Jaytech, is one of the few, eminent geniuses in the world of progressive house music responsible for the rise of the sublabel to Above & Beyond’s Anjunabeats, Anjunadeep. After the triumphant release of ”Temporarity”, the pack compiling brilliance and innovativeness from the Finnish duo Michael Cassette, Anjunadeep has become the leading release platform in terms of bringing forth the most harmonic of sounds lately. Hailing from London, Jaytech, the DJ and producer born and bred down-under, comes out with his third Anjunadeep EP in 2011, headlined by Overdrive – a thumping track with filtered, robot-sounding vocals, groovy beats and a euphoric lead.

Aboard the package is also a remix from PROFF, the Moscow-based veteran, whom gives the original a tad of his distinguished touch. Atop of the Overdrive’s progressive structure, the Russian adds a significantly darker edge, tougher beats and funky sounds for this full-blown remake.

Jaytech’s ‘Overdrive’ is now out on Anjunadeep along with a remix from PROFF.
