Unlike the recently previewed and significantly filthier Tommy Trash remix, Christophe Hoeffel, also known as Kris Menace, gives us his smooth progressive remix to Pnau’s Unite Us, the single that saw its release as part of the Australian duo’s fourth album. With a profound liking of utmostly melodious and harmonic synth notes and a tad of French touch, the German, with collaborations alongside the likes of Alan Braxe, Lifelike, Felix Da Housecat and Fred Falke under his belt, is one of the most underestimated producers of his time. Whilst still thriving from last year’s debut on Size Records and release of Walkin On The Moon, Kris Menace ushered into 2011 with the Phoenix / Triangle EP on Size, followed by the Pete Tong-supported remix on The Last Dance.
Now, hot off a feature on Fred Falke’s recent debut artist album, the German remixes Pnau’s ‘Unite Us’ into a gentle piece. Essentially complemented by the rapturing vocals from Nick Littlemore, the Kris Menace provides the listener with a delightful hint of euphoria and joy.
It’s officially released on February 5th 2012 via Ministry Of Sound’s Etcetc Music.
