As opposed to their previous first and fairly dark collaborative effort, titled Grindin, Can’t Stop Me, the forthcoming second club juggernaut from the hands of Afrojack and Shermanology, showcases far less intricate build-ups to go hand-in-hand with the altisonant voice of prominent songstress Dorothy Sherman. Made up by a captivating, squeaky lead and the heavy-stepping kicks and growling sounds the world has seen become the prolific trademark of fellow Dutch house headliner Nick van de Wall as far as the instrumentals go, it comes as no surprise Can’t Stop Me Now is due to be one of the first installments of Wall Recordings in 2012 and consequently set the bar of the label’s progression next year to an all-time high.
Hailing from the Netherlands, the small, central European country that has played an essential role as a powerhouse specialized in the upbringing of new talented contributors to the continued development of electronic dance music, Afrojack and the three Sherman siblings join forces for a game-changer. With an appeal that is rather reminiscent of Afrojack’s successful Take Over Control, starring vocals from Eva Simons, in its brisk and bright signature sound, Can’t Stop Me sees itself becoming a sought-after and sing-along club gem from the four Hollanders next year.
‘Can’t Stop Me’ is due to be released on January 23rd via Wall Recordings.
