With a vocal duty from America-born, Australia-based singer-songwriter Erik Hecht and enchanting instrumentals on behalf of Dirty South and up-and-coming trio Those Usual Suspects, Walking Alone has become one of the best received anthem of the fourth quarter of 2011. Officially premiered as the ”Essential New Tune” in the Swedish House Mafia sit-in on the Essential Selection, this Phazing Records release has, since day one, caught the affection of electronic dance music heads from all around the world with Hecht’s pleasant and sing-along friendly vocals, its uniquely knitted intro and a significant dose of sweepy and catchy synth lines, accompanied by well-crafted baselines.
2011 is drawing to an end and another 12 months are about to arise. Considering the release of Dirty South, Thomas Gold and Kate Elsworth’s follow-up to Alive, titled Eyes Wide Open, is set to release in early 2012, it’s safe the safe 2012 is set to become another triumphant year for camp Phazing.
