While Zedd’s original slickly validated his production dexterity, a remix package for Stars Come Out is set to soon be emerging from Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak Records, and further validate the measures of one of Size Records’ most essential assets – Tim Mason. Red hot off his long-awaited second single release on Size, titled Anima, this Brighton wunderkind continues to boast his immense proficiency as he adds his trademark sound onto the sing-along friendly vocals of Heather Bright for a captivating interpretation on Zedd’s diverse sound. Though the structure of this remix may not be as intricate as the original, Tim Mason proves there is no wrong in keeping things simple, rather the opposite. With that sweeping, synth-filled lead at his mercy, Mason shows he has still got a lot left to give as he gives Zedd’s latest Dim Mak release a proper remix work.

  • Really good!

  • I always like big-room progressive tracks. :)
When is it going to be released?

  • nothing special imo.

  • han har sjukt sköna melodier och allt, men det känns nästan alltid som om att det är något som fattas?

  • @Bud Fox: 100% agreed, i felt the same with the much awaited anima..

  • another stellar track by tim mason

  • Broke: Word. My opinion is that Tim Mason’s sound is too flat.

Could be so much better if he’d focus more on creating a fatter and more dirty sound. I think that there is some room for improvements with his use of drums as well.
