Now a globally acclaimed connoisseur of all things filthy and Electro filled, Ministry of Sound’s celebrated fuzz-master Tommy Trash makes a Tech fuelled debut to Laidback Luke’s Mixmash Records. In the wake of his highly renowned ‘one-and-only’ remix for Swedish House Mafia and Knife Party’s ‘Antidote’, his inaugural release for 2012 deals in a simple yet hard hitting display of cranked samples and reassuringly wobbly low-end riffs, adding a further dimension to the Aussie hard-hitter’s already well-established output of quality club cuts. As an already well-established outlet for such quality club bangers from Luke himself and a host of European talent, the addition of this eclectic Electro House maestro makes for a positive start to the New Year for both artist and imprint alike.

‘Sex Drugs Rock N Roll’ is out now.

  • hahah mixmash bilderna…

  • @A

since a while…., check his beatport discography

  • Tommy is producing veteran, he’s been releasing tracks since 2007 at least

  • A: Tommy has had a lot of success ‘down under’ as well as in Europe more recently. He is affiliated with Ministry of Sound and was given the task of mixing their 2011 Annual. As seb highlighted, it is worth having a look back at his discography on Beatport, but ‘The End’ was definitely a defining moment for him. Thanks for reading!

  • I think he has to much of the same sounds in his last songs

  • +1 Yeah, actually.. I don’t like him at all, way to much filthyness!

  • I thought Ohrwurm was awful, the intrumental of this song isn’t bad. He posted a preview of his new song (http://soundcloud.com/tommytrash/tommy-trash-cascade-original), that sounds like a return to form.
