In a prosperous season of fine Dutch talent across the board, one track has definitely shone a bright light for the Netherlands and its sterling output of burly club gems. Where the devastating duo of Afrojack and heavy handed Dutch peer R3hab set the record straight with ‘Prutataaa’ for 2011, its new year reincarnation promises to extend the shelf life of one of last years spotlight releases for Wall Recordings. Under the skillful hands of Indonesian Housemonger Angger Dimas, this seminal offering is given a powerful kick up the ass, using the originals distinctive lead play to launch a prominent remodel of blasting big room vibes and screaming chord play to build on the originals outright anthemic appeal and breath fresh energy into the duos stand out collaboration. Having already acquired firm remixes from the likes of Swedish fuzz masters Dada Life and Brazilian Electro collective Darth & Vader, this formative romp of Dutch House supremacy has experienced a positive dose of longevity.
The remix package of ‘Prutataaa’ is released January 16th.
