With his fierce, one-and-only remix for Antidote just out, the steady ascent of Tommy Trash is an obvious result to a year of iconic conquests and scooping recurrent support from the likes of Swedish House Mafia, Tiësto and many others. Hot off his recent debut on Laidback Luke’s Mixmash label, this Aussie turned London resident that has soared into a sought-after, leading figure of grinding electro-house unveils his second single release for 2012, named Cascade. What at first appears to be more of a synth-driven progressive offering, as opposed to its many predecessors, later emerges as another inimitable example of heavy-hitting kicks, well-crafted baselines and an infectious electro-house lead that somewhat differs from his regular lead play while still consisting of that growling, perfectly pitched sound.
‘Cascade’ is out now via EDX’s PinkStar Records.
