19-year-old Jordy von Egmond has proven an impressively capable young addition to the Dutch stronghold over Electronic Dance Music. Already a firm favourite on Hardwell’s Revealed imprint, his diverse cuts can already be found doing the rounds at festivals and on radio shows across the globe, suggesting that despite his age Dyro has done a lot of catching up amid his rise to the new school’s finest.
Taking on Brasil’s Arjonas and Chris Jones’ firm Armada outing ‘Love Comes In Colours’, Egmond proves there is an extended dexterity to his ambitious studio output. Firmly establishing an Electro House persuasion from the outlet of its momentous drop, the high-end leads and ecstatic chord play that make up the rise and fall of this sizable remix mark a breath of fresh air into an already imminently impressive cut. With early support from Hardwell from his ‘On Air’ radio show, this is one potent offering for the esteemed Armada imprint that is not to be ignored.
The Dyro remix of ‘Love Comes In Colours’ is out February 13th via Armada.
