Having racked up remixes for the likes of David Guetta, Kaskade, Tiësto and The Temper Trap among others, the ascent of Dragan Roganovic, professionally known as Dirty South, to the status of one of clubland’s most essential remixers to date was probably not as much of a surprise as it was a given. Following up his collaborative remix for ‘Silvia’ alongside Sebastian Ingrosso in 2010, the Los Angeles-based Aussie House export returns to remix duty for Miike Snow for an impressive cut out of ‘Devil’s Work’, one of the headlining singles off the Swedish indie pop trio’s forthcoming second studio album. Borrowing rather heavily from the original’s piano-filled progression and Andrew Wyatt’s unremitting vocal lines, Dirty South’s more club suitable take sheds light on a set of well-crafted kicks and an addition of high-pitched synth lines to give the original’s sophisticated lead that well-needed, up-tempo revamp.

Update: Better quality video added on March 19th
