Established as a goddess amid Progressive House music’s extended ranks, the swelling melodies and down tempo turns of Swiss tune seamstress Dinka have been ticking the right boxes for a long time. With trademarked harmony and soothing flows of melodic bliss, the highly anticipated follow-up to ‘Skyscraper‘ continues this overly extended honeymoon period of Tamara Hunkeler’s recording career. Fusing a captivating vocal styling to the reassuringly steady Progressive grooves that do not so much build up to an anthem as play out in an upwards spiral of middle-ground club musings, her return shows as much promising style and charisma as last years impressive offering. As the promise of her fourth artist album looms on the approach to 2012, ‘Here I Am’ is a promising nod to the future for this truly remarkable force in Electronic Dance music.

  • Fun facts: Tim Buckley wrote this in the 70s, called Song To The Siren. Lost Witness covered it in 2002 naming it Did I Dream (Tiesto remixed it), and even Scooter had a go at it under their Ratty guise.
