Already proving definitive masters of the melodic banger, London’s M-3ox have successfully channelled their new school energy into an array of mighty club floor contenders. Where their forthcoming breakthrough for Heat Recordings, ‘Beating Of My Heart’, marks a strong accession to the realms of the vocal Progressive House anthem, rising Russian duo Matisse & Sadko were formatively on hand to don their own unique flavour to the heartrending original.
Fresh off the mark from a landmark live jaunt alongside Axwell on their home turf and with a collaboration alongside Arty, ‘Trio‘, for Axtone on the way, their own remodel of this Progressive outing was sure to be swept with the same diverse energy of their current industrious activity. Blasting through tactfully layered synth play and the originals emotive vocal line from Heidrun Bjornsdottir, known for her work with Cicada and GusGus, the affirmative injection of big room energy makes for a persuasive peak time favourite that has already been lapped up by the likes of Arty amid his highly anticipated Essential Mix for Pete Tong and Axwell.
