As far as fundamentally vital assets to the Dutch House explosion go, Nicky Romero has proven himself a gem of a producer amid the overcrowded European movement. Following on from momentous Musical Freedom sample-fest ‘Generation 303‘ and his ever impressive commercial crossovers, Pete Tong was the first to pick up on this sophisticated addition to his Cr2 Live and Direct offering alongside MYNC. Shining a light for stern yet exuberantly charged club outings, his melodically laced embrace of decisive synth play and sophisticated instrumental values makes for a mature yet somewhat more subtle anthem for the young producer. Where others have fallen into a world of musical stereotypes, Romero remains a producer out to set aside all assumptions of the Netherland’s outstanding Electronic output.
