Hailing from the city of Roeselare in Belgium, Louis Coussée comes out with a second enigmatic mixtape for 2012. Initiating the Spring of 2012 ahead of a new edition of the Miami Music Week, Coussée collects a stack of complex and somewhat risky mashups as well as many of the essential contenders for Miami for a diverse, 84 minute mix now out to download. It features tracks such as Swedish House Mafia’s recently released fifth single, ‘Greyhound‘, Third Party and Cicada’s ‘Feel‘, John Dahlback’s ‘Life‘ and Arty and Matisse & Sadko’s debut on Axtone, ‘Trio‘, among many others.

  • There is so much out of key mixing its horrible and quite a shame that he couldnt hear it nor drop everything into mixed in key and see for himself. But i give him effort for trying.

  • Peter Robinson?? WHO?

  • Boring tracks.

  • I love to see when Djs really make an effort when creating mixes, so big up for that! Some parts are a bit too risky but overall, well done.

  • agree with bobsal. we always complain about boring mixes so at least this guy made an effort.

  • Awesome mixtape!! I really like this one! Keep it up, i’m looking forward hearing more from you!

  • Ryan: That’s true but would be awesome with some different tracks that we dont hear day in and day out.

  • Hmm, i find the mixing to be a bit dodgy at some parts…

  • pinsamt att så många låtar krockar i hans mixtape… hur kan ni göra reklam för det här??

  • @Petuo
    Vad menar du med krockar?

  • Definitely agree with Bobsal. These are the types of mixtapes that I try to make: Popular house tracks of the moment, with edits, mashups and bootlegs that not every single DJ in the world has played already. Props to this guy.

Small nitpick on the tracklisting: Skrillex’ track isn’t “… Nice Spirits”, but “… Nice Sprites”

  • Impressive track-list yes. Mixing not perfect but where is his own work? Would be more impressed if this was a mix tape featuring his own productions/bootlegs rather than taking 50 of so essential tracks from the last 3 or four months. That doesn’t take much effort for anyone familiar with the new age of technology available.

  • Greyhound is the pits…

  • God damn calling is soooo played out but that drop still gets me… Just a festival pleaser.

  • More fun listening to this then listen to same old mixtapes that all are alike…. Some mashups her are not the best, but some are good

  • Thanks people to listen to my mixtape and drop by a comment I can use al your advice to improve so please let me know what bootlegs you don’t like etc! Peace
