Release: Mark Knight – Bullets EP Volume 2 [Toolroom]

Still ablaze from the notoriously fierce remix of Florence and the Machine’s ‘You’ve Got The Love’, Volume two of his ‘Bullets’ EP series extends the distinction that was conjured by last year’s debut instalment. Where soulfully tuned A-side ‘Alright’ shows off Knight’s gritty yet melodically refined studio dexterity with an intense injection of subtly distorted leads, ‘Together’ reels in the exotic poolside appeal that Toolrom have become all-too adept in providing amid their global romps. Always leading with quality over quantity, volume two of this infamous series of EPs fails to disappoint and is a reassuring indicator that Britain’s sharpest House veteran is still at large for 2012.
