Premiered as the opener of Hardwell’s high-octane performance at the Ultra Music Festival main stage, Dyro presents his remix of Hardwell and Dannic’s forthcoming single ‘Kontiki‘. With further exploits for Afrojack’s Wall imprint in ‘Top Of The World‘ and Revealed in the already highly-rated collaborative effort with Rene Kuppens titled ‘Raid‘, the industrious landing of Amsterdam-based Jordy von Egmond has been nothing short of spectacular.

Running with that familiar club sound that has helped him hit the radar with notable force, Egmond’s latest effort is further testament to the dexterous talents of the Dutch 19-year-old. Completely replacing the original’s anthemic synth-work and euphoric melodies, Dyro’s well-crafted remodel reveals dark, chugging chords complemented by heavy-stepping kicks to make this a perfect counterpart to the blissful and stadium-esque original.

‘Kontiki’ will be released on April 16th along with this remix from Dyro.

  • come on dyro! this is some good work, but i am looking for something new from you!

  • the preview may last a bit longer for me. Maybe that’s a sign I like the sound of it.

  • I’m tired of these sounds from dyro and many electro house producers from spinninrececords they all sound almost the same. There is also a track that is going out soon wall records that sounds like this… Dont think it’s fresh at all.
