Release: Melleefresh vs. Deadmau5 – Hey Baby (Olav Basoski Remix)

Last year may have been his biggest to date, but Olav Basoski has shown little to no signs of slowing down his successful movements for 2012. In a bid to further contribute to the modern Disco House scene, Basoski takes his turn on Deadmau5’s single alongside Melleefresh titled ‘Hey Baby’ for another exemplary disco contender.

With such a timeless offering as ‘New Day‘ under his belt, Basoski has established himself as something of a pioneer of modern disco. In his latest studio effort, the talented Amsterdam producer is seen representing just that, bringing us another excellent merge of distorted leads and well-crafted baselines. Despite the high level of weirdness seeping through the 2008 original’s vocal line, Basoski’s refreshing take on this Deadmau5 classic hints that an essential contender for the summer of 2012 may very well be in the making.
