The analogy goes that DJs are the modern age rock stars. Having already ticked the queen of pop Madonna off of his remix duties for 2012, Avicii reinstates this universal concept by taking on the American master of stadium-proof rock anthems Lenny Kravitz and his ‘Superlove’ single. Premiered during the grandeur of his enigmatic UMF set in Miami, Tim Bergling sets out to prove that amid the hype there are still some surprising avenues for his genre to poke at.
Bringing a typical soundest of melodic play closely associated with his rise to the ranks of European Dance enigma, Bergling’s solid lead play rings throughout this thorough yet seemingly inoffensive endeavour into the realms of commercial rock. Some may still be bitter about the bigger picture now ahead of Electronic Dance Music, but as Avicii’s ongoing studio endeavours prove, the world is now the stage for a genre that once remained confined to the club floor.

Det är på grund av sådana som dig vi idag ständigt får höra en massa skit som låter likadant. Producenter kör på ett säkert kort och väljer ett electro drop för att folk inte ska hata. Det här klassas som progressiv house och då blir droppet även ofta enkelt och förutsägbart. Det är hela grejen med det progressiva ditt härke!

Why always name his remix like ”avicii vs….” N why not just use ”superlove (avicii remix) or the ”avicii’s space mix) as the soundcloud name? Moreover it was deleted. There are some things which I find strange since his big celebrity. Everything for the marketing and nothing else.

Heard this at his set @ Ultra. What an amazing track! Just waiting for the Florence & The machine mashup to be released if it ever will. Haters need to understand that people enjoy structure and predictability to a great extent. It’s what builds a track, I don’t have the source for this here but the according to some music study 70% predictability was the golden number for a hit track.
