Maybe it is something in the water, but France has often inspired some of Electronic music’s more outstanding assets. Standing on a prominent platform of underground integrity throughout their underground movements, southern talents Amine Edge and DANCE set forth an inherently strong contender for the minimalistic House throne with Pete Tong-championed ‘Going to Heaven With The Goodie Goodies’.
Dealing in slovenly yet sexy beat work throughout, the duos lazy stirs of analogue bass surges and subtle melodic stabs make for a powerful step back from the full-throttle realms of EDM. A big room bandit it is not, but right on time for the season of intimate pool parties and after club sunset moments, the tracks raw attitude and laidback persona make for a sure thing for this promising French outfit.
