While London’s Mat Zo can be championed on the merits of timing where his global explosion is concerned, his ability to fare Las Vegas’s festival traffic left saw him miss his slot at the infamous Electronic Daisy Carnival. Outright infuriation aside, his ensuing appearance St Louis’s Pulse Nightclub poised the perfect opportunity for the rising British producer to capture the energy that would have fuelled his landmark American festival appearance.

Balancing his own uniquely energising productions alongside a host of unsuspecting floor-fillers, Zo incorporates off his well-ornamented mash-up stylings with the utmost stamina throughout his St Louis set, calling on the formidable groundwork of Cirez D, Roger Sanchez, Deadmau5 and Daft Punk alike to exercise his creative turntable dexterity to the fullest. It may not have matched the sheer volume of EDC, but on the merits of his exceptional set for the smaller pocket of American club culture, there will undoubtedly be a next time for this creative asset to the European EDM onslaught.
