Warily balancing the realms of mainstream club mongering and earnest dissident dance floor contributions whilst keeping a weary distance from the global press, the public eye has seldom been stolen from the iconic Swede powerhouse behind some of global Dance music’s most beloved offerings. With his debut Pryda album under his belt and a further full-length artist album told to be releasing later this year, Eric Prydz brought his melodic stylings in true Pryda fashion to Sweden’s Dans Dakar last month for his first hometown showcase in a year. Blazing through a selection of unreleased and newly released gems from his arsenal, there is little to no excuse not to give this 50 minute set of pure bliss a spin.
