Having caught the attention of Pete Tong with his breakthrough remix of Coldplay and Rihanna’s ‘Princess of China’, Eric Prydz’s latest Pryda Friends protégé André Sobota puts Brazil back on the map with a poignant two-track label debut.
While the wholeheartedly uplifting lead work of ‘Voyager’ lays tribute to the new school movement of Progressive House triumphs that Prydz’s infamous imprint have become regular supliers of, ‘Found’ pits the young Brazilian producer against his likeminded Pryda peer Fehrplay in a triumphant union of the labels freshest artist singings for a dark and hypnotic display of emotively refined floor fuel. As eclectic in sound as it is rich in quality, the EP remains a firm indicator that amid the hustle and bustle of 21st century Dance music Pryda Friends has stumbled across pure gold where its newfound talents are concerned.
