With their country’s affirmative Dance music movements proving just as popular as its infamous club-fuelling spirit, affirmative Axtone favourites Hard Rock Sofa return hand-in-hand with rising homeland peers Swanky Tunes for the trios inaugural imprint offering ‘Here We Go’. Premiered by the Swedish House Mafia during their headline appearance at this year’s Coachella Festival and given a world radio premiere by BBC Radio 1’s Jordan Suckley, ten hands have proven the winning formula for this exciting follow-up to the Russian collective’s numerous collaborative endeavours.

Fusing heavy acidic riffs alongside an array of rigid kicks and rising leads, this collaborative endeavour exceeds their previous joint ventures in terms of style, substance and energy. As Axtone continues to raise the bar where modern House music is concerned, their heartfelt industry progressions are suitably endorsed by a quality installment of festival proof club fuel from one of Russia’s most promising collections of artists to date.

  • For me personally that is the worst Axtone release ever.

Now they should focus on Pauls Paris’ two tracks, the one from Hook N Sling and of course some Axwell productions

  • Manu: Couldn’t have said more. I mean, all these people and ended up on a track like this? And sounds like something ONE man could equally do, and this is David Tort. An ok track, but totally the Paul Paris one is one i’ve been waiting for a long time.

  • *Couldn’t have said it more right.

  • you just don’t like it man. Hopefully, we’re not all like you

  • Bandis: +1

Yeah, seriously Ax. Give us that Pauls Paris release …

  • lol guys i don’t get it. axtone finally stopped releasing the same kind of music. of course it has two sides but personally i’m hoping for more like this. btw i don’t think axtone ever released ‘bad’ songs. of course there were some fails (sign your name, raise your hands, quasar) but let’s hope the best

  • Quasar didn’t fail, it’s an insanely popular track that most DJ’s have in their sets. And I love here we go as well. it’s a different sound that’s better live.

  • Raise your hands is btw an all-time classic imo.

  • I don’t think this is the worst release ever. I always expect the best from Axtone and for me it’s good Axtone releasing this and other kind of music. Guys not everything has to be that beautiful, anthemic house.

This might not be the best release ever (i’m not even a fan of HRS and Swanky Tunes) but i think there aren’t bad releases on Axtone, it has always been a quality music label.

For me, if it’s good and quality music they can release whatever they want.

I’m also looking forward for that Hook N Sling track and the ones from Pauls Paris.

  • Worst release this label has ever put out

  • holy horrible batman

  • I don’t get the hate. It’s not something I would listen to on the bus for pleasure but sure as hell would jump myself tired to it at a festival.

  • [...] Soulmagic’s ‘Someone Like You‘ and Hard Rock Sofa and Swanky Tunes’ ‘Here We Go‘, with Jeremy Olander’s remix of ‘Mine & Yours‘ rounding off this [...]
