Be it his remixes or significantly boisterous original productions, Tommy Trash has proven to be above the industry standard as far as global Electro House is concerned. On the back of his sterling remix for his and Moguai’s ‘In N Out‘, the Australian Electro master was trusted to add some oomph to New York trio Cubic Zirconia’s ‘Darko’ for his first appearance on the record label of A-Trak.

Told to be his last remix for quite some time before retiring to original mixes only, Thomas Olsen’s Fool’s Gold debut proves as effortless as it is unique. Maintaining many of the elements of the already diverse original, Trash adds his signature chugging chord play and infectious basslines for a respectful revamp of distinctive properties.

  • really nice

  • Seriously, I don’t know what I’m going to do if he doesn’t end up on the DJ Mag top 100 this year…..

  • Niklas, i guess you haven’t realized that DJ Mag’s list is not about producers nor producing skills. Sadly, other stupid people like you don’t know the simple difference between a DJ and a music producer.

  • Bandis: sadly i think majority of people vote for peoples production skills and not the dj:ing… Today, DJ and Producer is the same thing to 99% of the people and its pretty sad :(

  • fucking epic

  • fuuuuu

  • @Bandis

Haha, are you kidding me? Of course people know that, its in the name if you havent noticed. But as he said, it doesn’t matter. DJ/producer is today the same thing. I have accepted that fact by now, and it doesnt really matter. It’s the mainstreams fault it’s been commercialized. (I dont really care though.)

I’ll bite off my own dick and eat it if Guetta is the best producer in the world. It’s a popularity contest and has little to do with producing or DJing.
