Premiered as the second essential contender on a May edition of Pete Tong’s Essential Selection for BBC Radio 1, Dusky release their remix of Grammy nominated Hot Chip’s ‘Night and Day’. With a full-length artist album on their shelves and a four track EP just out on Dogmatik Records, the London duo continues to impress with another signature remix to their belt. Borrowing from the original’s chunky sound, Alfie Granger-Howell and Nick Harriman’s simplified, revamped remodel boasts a blend reminiscent of their inaugural release of 2012 ‘Three Colours‘, mixing soothing keys and a Hot Chip’s soulful vocal line with an array of considerably thicker beats.
