Liverpool’s Eric Prydz-approved studio force Richard Knott returns after the recent release of ‘Portals‘ off of Whartone Records to wander out of his comfort zone for ‘Locus Solus’. In an Eric Prydz-esque manner, Knott steps away from the delightful synths we have come to love and associate with the 23-year-old Liverpudlian to produce something different altogether. Whether based upon Raymond Roussel’s French novel from 1914 with the same name or not, we don’t know, but with the same mysterious approach, Knott blends enigmatic lead work and chunky kicks for one of his perhaps freshest gems to date.
Update (20/10): The track will be released soon on Pryda Friends. An official preview is now available.
Update (2/11): The release date is set for November 5th.
