Within a year that has balanced visionary movements with blatant mediocrity for global Dance music, the young amalgamative master known as Madeon has strongly circled the prior. Between such landmark appearances at Milton Keynes alongside Swedish House Mafia and New York’s Electronic Daisy Carnival and his awe-inspiring mini mix for Annie Mac, Hugo Leclercq returns to his own Popcultur imprint with a strong follow-up to ‘Icarus’.
But for all the adrenaline that has surrounding the young producers work of late, a turn to the more down tempo realms does not do his industrious credit any harm. Uniting his stamp of melodic authenticity with the vocal talents of Nicholas Petricca to utilise this hefty surge of heavyset club fuel from outside of his comfort zone, the emotive yet well-rounded energy that pervades ‘Finale’ provides yet another dimension to an already meticulous force within European Dance music.

I really don’t get the hype around this kid… It’s just average… Same as Zedd and Porter Robinson… Nothing special.

Notanotherpaul; I’m just curious to hear what you think is above average?
Adrian Karlén says:
@Notanotherpaul: How is this the same shit as always? Sure the progressive sound is familiar. But how often do you hear it with a dubstep beat? So no, it’s not avarage.
Arda says:
Adrian: Word!
Hope Madeon keeps the creative awesomeness coming. F*cking amazing kid!!
