For all the French innovators that have blessed club music throughout its scattered history, Rodriguez Jr. veers somewhat far from the ranks of musical idol, but looks lets to pursue that avenue with his distinct Deep House stylings with relentless stead. With 2012 having spelt nothing but promise for the organic club mongers, the full-bloomed summer season sees the Parisian make his 11th appearance on Mobilee Records two years after his label debut with the release of his ‘Princess Guacamole’ EP.

With ‘Ocean Drive’ undoubtedly taking the headline spot and a sound scope ranging from the funky, rhythmic beats and soulful top line of ‘Muppet Anthem’ to the more comfortable club stylings of ‘Satellite’ and ‘Palo Alto’, the Frenchman’s latest four track EP indicates that among the times of industrious evolution and mainstream accumulation, Electronic music with creative soul still exists amid the European movement.
