Armed with a cluster of untimely hits, the past couple of years have been full of pleasant surprises throughout for Chino Hills’ Josh Anaya and Angelo Patino-Patroni. But following up on last year’s release of ‘Cal State Anthem’, Anaya and Patino-Patroni, better known as PeaceTreaty, are joined by 19-year-old Los Angeles singer Anabel Englund for their second single release on Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak Records with ‘In Time’.
Packing a vital punch of heavy bass and growling chords alongside soothing piano play and Englund’s indie-like voice, it is ‘In Time’s stubborn low-end undertone that drives home this release for the dynamic duo and their knack for distinctive club fuel.
