Fresh off the unveiling of his new single alongside Paul Rogers for Toolroom, ‘Shake The Dice‘, Pete Tong rounds off the month of July with another eclectic ”Essential Selection” for BBC Radio 1. Chris Lake’s still unreleased album single ‘Stand Alone‘ with Lazy Rich, Otto Knows’ ‘Million Voices‘ and further air-time for Hunter/Game’s forthcoming Hot Creations release make up the first part of the show. Waifs & Strays and Wankelmut race for this week’s essential new tune slot, with Michel Cleis nabbing the prestigious title of the week with yet another revamp of his ‘Miranero’ classic.

R3hab takes on mix duties with a heavy-hitting 15 minute mix that includes the likes of his remixes of ‘Can’t Stop Me‘, Calvin Harris and more and Joris Voorn joins Tong for this week’s 15 minutes of fame and sheds further light on his latest triumph ‘Goodbye Fly‘. Last but not least – a special edition hot mix courtesy of Richie Hawtin.

  • Guys, one question!
    There is a Tune between KiNK’s Express & Bondax’s Baby I Got That @1:21:20 ,
its simply amazing, i have to know the name :)

The Elton John vs. Pnau – Sad (Seamus Haji Remix) is also a awsome production,
but the chords are the same as in David Guetta’s YOU ARE THE MUSIC

  • OHH, question, has cleared up.
Watched at 1001Tracklists, the tracks is called Jessie Ware – Wildest Moments

  • ”Jakob Liedholm – Swede Love” How can even Pete Tong play this bad song. It’s a simple boring piano loop and full of overplayed nexus sounds aka Avicii.

It’s sick how low the standard of house music have gotten today.

  • I’m not saying Avicii is bad, not at all. I mean the Avicii style and with the same nexus sounds have already been done.

Jakob Liedholm’s attempt is just a cheesy track, and it gets played by the legendary Pete Tong. It’s just depressing that this song get played while there are tons of quality creative tracks out there.

  • Richie Hawtin AND Joris Voorn featured in the same show : O

  • and Voorns remix of Steve Rachmad is pretty good. Very melodic for a Voorn-tune…

  • ya jakob liedholms mixing sucks and melodies aswell

SHIT!!!
