Parisian big room master Arno Cost emerges with an exclusive new mix for the summer season. Despite having played somewhat off the radar since the release of his three-way collaborative outing ‘Trilogy’ alongside Laidback Luke and Norman Doray, the French producer stays true to the force of his globetrotting sets while comfortably setting the tone ahead of a forthcoming original track with David Guetta. In a blend of vibrant mash-ups and such festival favorites as Alesso’s ‘Years’ and Benny Benassi’s remix of ‘Trembling Hands‘, this high-octane set shows Cost back in form for the last leg of the summer.

Jack says:
Fuckin’ great
!
Haroun says:
This is disappointing for 2 reasons:
1) It seems like every mixtape now features the same tracks, the same bootlegs, the same acapellas. There is nothing new or inventive about this mixtape. There are so many great progressive house tracks out there, why do we always have to hear the same ones?
2) A blog like Beat My Day, with nearly 30,000 Facebook followers, should maybe try and look into different mixtapes from different DJs/producers. If everything gets repetitive, people will lose interest.
The reason A-Trak’s mixtape is so fantastic is because it’s different. Maybe you should feature that too. It would be refreshing.
Bob says:
Awesome! Some of my fav tracks are in there!
Jane Kostadinoski says:
Haroun , depends on the tastes, Beatmyday is an awesome website where its all about the music! Maybe you won’t like some of their post but they will be liked by someone else…it’s all about tastes man
e says:
Haroun, do you have the A-Trak mixtape link? please post!!
Ctirad says:
Jane Kostadinoski: It’s true! Beatmyday is my favorite website about music. I’m here every day. The guys behind these webiste doing awesome job!
Keymer says:
I’m with Haroun, i understand it’s about tastes but come on if you see every mixtape posted here at least 4 or 5 tracks are repeated in each one.
There is so much more good house tracks than the ones Swedish House Mafia plays.
I love Beat My Day those guys are always making a great job but i think they should post other kind of house mixtapes too.
Justin says:
Ya this mix is old news…Arno Cost hasnt done anything for a while and it shows…his songs are all old as fuck.
Check out my vocal mix! features a lot more artists, a lot more tracks, and all vocals!

Haroun says:
I completely understand it’s about taste, and I’d never tell people what they should and should not listen to.
It’s not that I don’t like these tracks, I just believe something different would be nice. We’ve all heard Nicktim with Justice, the Quasar bootleg, etc.
In addition, the majority of work the guys at Beat My Day do is really fantastic, I just wish the mixtapes that they shared were more varied, but obviously part of the blame there can be placed on the top DJs that make them!
e: Here is a link to A-Trak’s radio show, enjoy! >> http://soundcloud.com/a-trak/fools-gold-radio-august-2012
Anton says:
Haroun: Thanks for the tip! Will look into that further and hopefully start mixing things up a bit more.
We sometimes mix it up and post tech mixes actually but the response hasn’t been half as good as on these more ”commercial” mixes.
dude says:
come on dude. this shit fucking sucks. there are literally millions, I mean MILLIONS of mixtapes out right now.
