Steve made GREAT music for many years, but then he got rich and famous and the creativity dissappeared. He's an excellent progressive house producer, but now he's trying to produce "bangers" and electro tracks and most of them are horrible. I've heard far worse from him than this however, but it's got nothing on Raining Again, Groove In You, Isabel, Magnolia, Tivoli etc. olle: Completely agree with you. I saw a interview with him a couple of years back when he said music is like Mc'Donalds now. You can get it anywhere and it's consummated fast. Well my point is THEY made it this way by not being selective enough with the quality of their own releases. I know this type of house is high in demand now because eeeeveryone listens to it, so i'm guessing they are thinking: hey i'd rather take a pice of the pie than give it all to guetta/avicii/skrillex. I have tremendous amount of respect for him (so no talk about hating) because i know he is a great producer/dj and a big influence in the scene. But i just feel like they all stopped trying, the hunger is gone you know?. It used to be about creating an emotion, moving people and proving your worth.
