Following up on last year’s potent Rising Music debut in ‘Get Movin‘, Jim Breese returns to the record label of Chris Lake to aid homeland peer Dan Castro’s inauguration to the label with ‘Baila’. Reminiscent of Lake’s acclaimed 2009 release ‘La Tromba’ alongside Marco Lys in terms of concept, ‘Baila’ is based almost solely around Bealaric flutes with occasional vocal chants to make up something of a true contender for the Ibiza season. Accompanied by maracas and rhythmic drum work, ‘Baila’ could easily be mistaken for an Iberian creation and shines a bright light for the creativity we now associate with Rising Music’s studio output.
