Straying considerably far from the far intricate plot line of the ‘Silhouettes’ video, Avicii and Lenny Kravitz join forces with Spinner and MTV to release the official video of ‘Superlove‘.

The video is based around a jogger stumbling upon a mysterious Walkman on the city sidewalks of what appears to be stateside suburbs. When hitting play, however, the man is thrown in a fit of popping and locking, followed by a catapulting into a neon brainscape. In spite of failing to fully mirror that of the track’s lyrics, the mixture of flamboyantly dressed ravers, slick dance moves and epileptic visuals makes for a stirring and fittingly playful visual accompaniment to an equally fun song.

  • I’m guessing this is the radio edit?

  • Love the original mix, but the radio edit has a really strange progression, sounds really cutted up :(

  • How can you actually enjoy a song with radio edit? It’s so weird progression, it feels so stressed.

  • Radio edits are not made for us guys… So it’s natural that it sounds “rushed” and weird but that’s how it’s done…

  • Yeah I agree, Radio edit is not for us.
However the video is fun ;) I mean, less stupid than others we saw…

  • Dat tape!

  • Some radio edits are better than others if for example the long dj intro is boring. (a good radio edit would be the one of “Leave a light on”. Before the first drop, it has less vocals and kinda skips the buildup, but it sounds really good though)

But yes, this one sounds like the video editor made it or something like that. the structure is messed up.

  • BTW why are Avicii’s videos so sh*it??? I mean the Levels video is beyond cr*p but this is too…

  • Radio edits are not made for us…

  • Illuminati logo in the middle of this shit video… hate it
