With well over 20 years worth of contributions to the House music scene, Wales-born Sasha is the stuff of legend. But back on remix duty after remixing ThermalBear, Sasha previews his sought-after take on Hot Chip’s ‘Flutes’ and forthcoming sixth instalment to his own Last Night On Earth label.
Invoking the feeling of watching an obscure black and white film from the 20th century, Sasha maintains the dreamy vibes of the original while showcasing his tremendous ability to speak through his music. Where many produces without any intent but to get famous, there is something inherently sincere in Sasha’s approach that leads this restrained yet refined remix with unmistakable soul.
The Sasha remix of ‘Flutes’ will be released September 24.
