Never ones to rest on their laurels, rising Dutch duo Firebeatz are back at Spinnin Records alongside Rotterdam-based Schella to set the record straight with Beastie Boys-sampled ‘Dear New York’. Already brandishing the seal of approval from Tiësto, their sixth single release off Spinnin sees them step away from the carnevalesque grooves of ‘Just One More Time Baby‘ alongside Chocolate Puma for a mighty return to attitude-filled Electro House. Blending dotted lead play and tectonic charm, Firebeatz kickstart the Fall with what might just be their best work to date, extending their already renowned affinity for New York City in the process.

  • does someone of the fellow producers here know where this bass sound (hells bells, metropolis and this track) came from? is it a sample/ preset or what?

  • Yea, Nicky romero’s Iron also kinda has it

  • It’s a Massive preset. Can’t remember the name though.

  • Henry, if you’re referring to the bass in the drop then I believe it’s a massive preset. If I remember correctly it’s part of some dubstep preset pack.

  • <3 Firebeatz, another solid track

  • hahah yeah guys you’re right, i found it yesterday by accident when looking for a bass..they just take out the delay and reconfigure the stepper..but I’d have to look it up the name if someone’s curious

  • I’m pretty curious! :D

  • Amazing effectiveness across this excellent web presence. Now i appreciated looking at this, and thus likely will reappear repeatedly, interested in just about anything brand new.
