Off the back of the highly successful official release, brotherly Russian duo Matisse & Sadko’s take on American Rock outfit Shinedown’s ‘Unity’ single returns for round two with a free giveaway of the sought-after instrumental version.
But where Shinedown’s sinewy vocals never truly fit that of Matisse & Sadko’s euphoric key work, the instrumental version sees their remix of ‘Unity’ take further flight away from the realms of radio friendly club music with little compromise on energy and integrity throughout. Still as strong an indicator of the true potential of modern Dance music as it is the quality of remixes currently on offer, the free release of the instrumental version should open up for some pretty interesting mashup and edit opportunities.

Ritchie says:
Brace yourself the mashups are coming!
Orre says:
I will never get tired of this one! Dirty South has made an amazing mashup with this and open your heart. Anyone care to do a remake?
Alex says:
Are you really saying Shinedown’s vocal doesn’t fit the remix good?? I think that the vocals are amazing on the Matisse & Sadko remix!
Anton says:
Alex: To be honest, Shinedown’s vocal will probably never fully fit a Dance track. I have no issue with it and it’s certainly not bad, but, in my opinion, the vocal just didn’t feel like it belonged in that remix.
Alex says:
I think it fits very well. And its good they doesn’t sing when the drop comes, but like in the beginning, i think its very good to have. And i think Matisse & Sadko made a great work with the vocal!
Matt says:
Gotta say I agree with Alex, i love the vocal on this song
Mike says:
I agree the vocal did not fit 100 percent, mashups are imminent.
